Hyundai Venue Facelift: The Hyundai Venue has consistently been one of the brand’s best-selling SUVs in India. To further boost its sales, Hyundai is preparing to launch an updated version of the Venue. The facelifted model has already been spotted multiple times during testing on Indian roads, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of its refreshed design. The new Venue is expected to bring significant changes to its exterior and interior while retaining its existing powertrain options. Let’s take a detailed look at what the updated Hyundai Venue has to offer.

Redesigned Exterior for a Bold New Look

The next Hyundai Venue facelift comes with styling changes all around. It will have a vertically stacked rectangular headlights, a dual-chamber LED reflectors, connected headlamps on the front fascia to make it appear more aggressive. The SUV will also have a stylish inverted L-shaped LED daytime running light (DRL) strip on the upper side, enhancing its modern look.

At the side profile, the new Venue will come with new stronger roof rails, sleeker ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) and revised body cladding for a tougher stance. The sportier set of alloy wheels on the SUV will further amplify the overall road presence of the vehicle. The Venue’s external design has plenty of little design tweaks to keep it a looker in a hotly contested small SUV market.

Hyundai Venue Facelift: Premium and Feature-Loaded Interior

The Hyundai Venue Facelift will see a few changes inside the cabin for a more upmarket feel. The new gen-sedan is likely to feature a re-designed dashboard layout, along with a center console and seat upholstery with a more present-day sentir. Moreover it’s probable that we’ll have dynamic ambient lighting to further improve the in-car atmosphere.

Hyundai will retain its high-end connectivity options, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with more 60 Bluelink-connected car technologies. There’s also voice recognition and Alexa integration, which will make it easier to stay connected to a smartphone and use voice commands when you’re running around.

Despite all that, safety continues to be high, and with it, the Hyundai Venue facelift is believed to come with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist and level-1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). These attributes will serve to increase confidence of the driver and improve the safety of the passengers.

Same Reliable Powertrain Options

There are not expected to be any significant changes to the Venue’s powertrains beneath the hood either, Hyundai. The SUV will host the same engine choices – 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol mill, a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5L diesel engine. The engines have been both reliable and efficient, and have appealed across a spectrum of customer tastes.

Hyundai Venue Facelift: Expected Competition and Market Positioning

When launched, the new Hyundai Venue Facelift will rival the likes of Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kushaq, and Toyota Taisor. With a new look, new features in-line with its call-the-shots attitude, and proven performance, the Venue looks determined to establish itself in an entrance that’s already very crowded.

Hyundai has yet to announce when exactly the Venue facelift will hit showrooms, but we expect it to be priced at a slight premium above the current model. But considering its enhancements, the new Venue should both hold onto existing followers and welcome new ones seeking a trendy and feature-filled small SUV.
