2025 TVS Apache RTR 310: TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 iteration of its flagship street-naked motorcycle, the Apache RTR 310, in India. Priced competitively starting at ₹2.40 lakh (ex-showroom), this updated model combines aggressive styling, segment-leading features, and a refined powertrain to deliver a thrilling riding experience. Designed for enthusiasts who crave performance and technology, the RTR 310 stands out in the crowded sub-500cc segment.
Design and Styling: Bold and Futuristic
The design philosophy of the 2025 Apache RTR 310 remains harp, cyberpunk but there are some subtle, but effectual tweaks made to it. And now the faired sibling, the RR 310, has lent its transparent clutch cover to the naked sibling to lend the bike a premium, mechanical look. It all started out with aggressive styling including new tank shrouds, front cowl look and a whole lot of macho appeal which it retained all along. Sequential indicators and new knuckle guards add on to its streetfighter character. The RTR 310’s exposed trellis frame, muscular fuel tank, and edgy LED headlamps with a “cyborg” design help the RTR 310 grab attention as it goes past.
2025 TVS Apache RTR 310: Performance and Engine
The RTR 310 gets power from a 312.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which makes 35.6 bhp @ 9,700rpm and76 Nm @ 6,650rpm. For 2025, TVS has re-mapped the throttle response for smoother acceleration, especially in the lowest gears, for improved city manageability. The engine has been given a smaller rear sprocket, borrowed from the RR 310, to make the bike more efficient at highway cruising.
Key performance enhancements include:
- Drag Torque Control – Prevents rear-wheel hop during aggressive downshifts.
- Bidirectional Quickshifter (optional) – Enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts.
- Race-Tuned Slipper Clutch – Reduces clutch effort and prevents wheel lock during hard braking.
Technology and Features: Segment-First Innovations
The RTR 310 is packed with advanced electronics, many of which are rare in this price bracket:
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) – Monitors real-time tyre pressure.
- 5-inch TFT Display – Offers multiple ride modes (Urban, Rain, Sport, Track, Supermoto) and Bluetooth connectivity for call/SMS alerts, navigation, and GoPro control.
- Cornering ABS & Traction Control – Enhances safety while leaning into turns.
- Keyless Ignition (BTO Dynamic Pro Kit) – Adds convenience with key fob-based operation.
- Launch Control (BTO Dynamic Pro Kit) – Holds revs at 7,250 rpm for optimal acceleration.
Ride and Handling: Agile and Confidence-Inspiring
Sharp handling comes easy thanks to the RTR 310’s hybrid trellis frame and KYB suspension (41mm USD forks + preload adjustable monoshock). Michelin Road 5 tires ensure excellent grip when corner carving or riding in wet conditions. With an 800mm seat height and a kerb weight of 169 kg, the bike is easy to manage for riders of all sizes, the rearset pegs offer a slightly sporty riding posture without feeling too much of a stretch.
2025 TVS Apache RTR 310: Variants and Pricing

Verdict: A Feature-Packed Street Dominator
The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 310 improves on an already handsome package with a more refined throttle response, futuristic tech, and even more edgy styling. It battles it out with the KTM 390 Duke, as well as the Triumph Speed 400, but its sticker has a pice tag of its own and so also does a lot in its favour – first in segment features, and sharp pricing.
If you are the thrill-seeking tech-savvy rider, who like to cherish customisation, the RTR 310 is an interesting choice in the sub- ₹3 lakh class. With TVS’s introductory offer (₹10,000 off for now), it may well be the right time to pick one up.
